Scuba diving reference guide

This website can be used as a reference of those interested in scuba diving who value personal reviews. The information on this site should be taken for what it is: a personal account of a certain place on a certain moment in time.

The travel reports are meant to give you insight in what diving in a certain area with a certain dive school could be like for you, however, the conditions can change:

  • Dive schools can have a particularly good or bad day or week when we visit them.
  • They can go out of business or be taken over by a new staff.
  • Dive conditions may vary throughout the year.
  • Divesites might be closed or new ones discovered.
  • Marine environments can deteriorate or improve.

Since we visit most dive spots only once, there is a risk of some travesl reports becoming dated. For all these reasons, we are not responsible for any diffence in your experiences compared to ours.

Independent scuba information

Also, we would like to emphasise here that we have no intention to give a generalised opinion on whole countries or on regions that we did not visit. We are independent, give honest reviews in relation to our personal experiences. Reviews can not be bought. We try to give a good representation of the circumstances we encounter, and will do our utmost best not to misrepresent any area, group or country.

No substitute for diving education

Finally, we would like to tell you that the practical, technical and safety related scuba information we give here is basic, and based on the scuba training as given by PADI and SSI. It is not a subsitute for a proper dive education and certification.
