Coldplay Saves Japanese Dolphins |

British band Colplay was so impressed by the movie The Cove, that they posted a promotion on their website, and their Facebook and Twitter accounts. All this to try and promote the movie, as well as to help save the Japanese dolhins with a petition.

It is now International Shark Week. Help to save the sharks by signing the petition for Spanish Prime Minister Zapatero, who is in a position to change EU legislation on shark finning and shark fishing. Sign the shark petition here.
Sharks are Apex preditors and therefor very important for the ocean eco systems. Sharks deserve our respect and support. Help save the sharks!

International Cleanup Day is a yearly worldwide initiative from Project Aware, and is meant to draw attention to the fact that all sorts of trash ends up on our beaches and in the oceans. Especially non-biodegradable items such as plastics, are seriously harmful for the marine environment.
We were in Malapascua Exotic Dive Resort in the Philippines, who got this much trash our of only one dive site. |
